Capcom officially revealed the release date for Resident Evil Village during today’s Resident Evil Showcase. On May 7, players on PC, last-gen, and current-gen hardware can expect to walk back into Ethan Winters’ shoes for the first time in a few months.

Fans will express their support for the franchise in other ways before venturing into the fresh and eerie locale. Starting on Groundhog Day, Division 2 will host an Apparel Event to commemorate Resident Evil’s 25th anniversary, which will last until February 15. Division agents will be able to unlock caches stuffed with Resident Evil-themed cosmetic items during the celebration.
During today’s Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom announced the Resident Evil Village release date. Before venturing into the new and creepy locale, fans will display their love for the franchise in other ways.
Division 2 will hold a Clothing Celebration to celebrate Resident Evil’s 25th anniversary, which will begin on Groundhog Day and continue until February 15. During the festival, Division agents would be able to open caches containing Resident Evil-themed cosmetic products.
The wait for RE Village to be released is now on. The upcoming game is a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, and it will once again put players in the shoes of Ethan Winters. Clearly, he and his wife, Mia, are unable to seize a chance.
Ethan’s next journey will take him to a mysterious village and an even stranger castle, a setup sure to have plenty of frights.
