Over the weekend, Chloe Trautman, 25, went to Instagram to answer questions from fans who reported that she was not on a trip to Palm Island in the Caribbean with many other cast members.
Trautman shared an Instagram story with a quote from an account called @spiritualbear over the weekend that said “Let people be hungry for you,” according to numerous news outlets from publications including People magazine and Us Weekly. “You focus on your (expletive).” Be offline from time to time.
Underneath the quote, Trautman wrote her own post, answering fans’ concerns directly and panning the “lies” that were supposedly distributed on the show about her fate.
“I haven’t been shot. According to different news sources, I wanted to take a step back from filming because it became incredibly toxic,” Trautman wrote. I am reluctant to place my journey and my happiness on the road of fame and wealth. When the show airs, you will all have clarification. Now stop spreading lies, please. It is not clear what a “step back” means to her. On Thursday, Trautman did not respond to an email or Instagram message.
