The spitting picture of her late grandmother, Anna Nicole Smith, is Dannielynn Birkhead. Audiences got to see the first look at a recent 20/20 episode starring the 14-year-old daughter of the popular TV personality and Larry Birkhead, 48, on a trip about 14 years after her death to piece together pieces of Anna’s life.
“She wanted to be a star; she wanted to be a mother, and Larry’s voiceover can be heard saying in the teaser that Dannielynn is her legacy.”
As Dannielynn and Larry continue to bring Anna’s mystery together, a number of people speculate on the similarity between the adolescent and the tragic star. “You’re your mommy,” one user commented in the preview. Just like her, you look. Even a side-by-side shot of Dannielynn and her mother before she became a celebrity is included in the teaser clip that readers can see above.
Similarities in Dannielynn Birkhead and her Mom
It’s an absolutely uncanny likeness. Dannielynn and her mom share almost every characteristic of their nose, hair, and a bright grin on their faces. Dannielynn’s dad, Larry, explains as the preview goes on why the father-daughter duo is moving on their adventure and rummaging through the history of Anna. Dannielynn is now an adolescent. And, you know, she doesn’t know a lot of her mom’s material.
When her mother died of an accidental opioid overdose on February 8, 2007, Dannielynn was just a girl. On September 7, 2006, the youngster was born, making her just five months old when her mother died tragically.
“As a dad who has a child whose mother died, I thought, why not go back to the beginning of Anna?” The father-daughter pair go all the way back to the beginning, as well.
Larry and Dannielynn will go through Anna’s old belongings that have been kept in storage for years in the special episode of 20/20, which will debut almost 14 years to the day after Anna’s death.
Larry, himself, also reveals in the preview that, previous to her years of fame, he didn’t know anything about Anna’s life. Plus, the special will also shed light on more “shocking” details about the untimely death of Anna.
