Hailee Steinfeld: The actress confirms that Hailee Steinfeld will be playing Kate Bishop in various MCU ventures. It remains to be seen what those ventures are.

Hailee Steinfeld will be involved in many upcoming MCU ventures as Kate Bishop at this year’s Hawkeye. Steinfeld had long been rumored to play Kate Bishop’s role, but until very recently he remained unconfirmed. The actress in character, reported as many predicted, was leaked set photos from Hawkeye.

In the episode, Kate Bishop is to be the guardian of Clint Barton with the MCU main base finally passing the baton on to the character of Steinfeld.

Sometime in 2021, Hawkeye will be released, but no release date has been confirmed. Currently, films are being made in and around New York, with Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, and Alaqua Cox being joined by Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner.

This year Hawkeye will be one of several MCU shows and film premieres, part of a broader drive to see franchise growth in years to come. Now it is verified that Steinfeld is part of this expansion.

The actress was asked in an interview with Collider why it takes so long to confirm her casting in Hawkeye. Many wondered if the actress reticent to sign up for several projects in the fear that Marvel would stop her musical career and other projects.

Steinfeld told the interviewee that this was not happening, citing the fact that when she was on the road she was able to focus on her great music Marvel’s aspirations for the future are becoming clearer with a multi-project agreement reported.

Kate Bishop gradually became part of the Young Avengers and the MCU was prepared to launch the squad. Kathryn Newton was recently named Cassie Lang and will become a figure later this year and will be premiering another Marvel film, Ms. Marvel, and launching another of the Young Avengers.

This team was also formed with the advent of Iron heart and America Chavez, of which the Xochitl Gomez would be playing in a Doctor Strange sequel.

Steinfeld did not indicate what she signed up for, and she might not even know herself yet. Once actors sign up for a multi-project arrangement, they can or cannot know exactly what they are going to shoot.

A Young Avengers project is not yet confirmed but the MCU is scheduled for 2027 so that even though no official day yet occurs it may be on the horizon. There is no news about Hawkeye releasing either, but it’s possible that in the latter half of the year, the fans will get their first look at Kate Bishop.
