Mirzapur Season 3 Updates: The Indian action crime thriller web television series Mirzapur has now been officially renewed by its streaming partner Amazon Prime on 12 November 2020. As the series would be returning with its season three, fans are excited to know about the loose ends left in the previous season like what happened to Kaleen Bhaiya’s first wife and mother of Munna?
The show became an instant hit as soon as it premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 16, 2018, and later it was renewed for its second season which premiered on 22 October 2020.
Mirzapur Season 3: Possible Plot
As the basic premise of the action- crime thriller revolves around drugs, guns, murders, and lawlessness in the city of Mirzapur and its neighboring cities, Kaleen Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi) seems to be the ruler of this crime prevailing in the purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. It also focuses on the dealings of Kaleen Bhaiya and his son Munna with the Pandit brothers Guddu and Bablu.
As earlier introduced to the Tripathi family in season 1, the family included Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna, Bauji (Satyanand Tripathi), and Beena Tripathy (wife of Kaleen Bhaiya and stepmom of Munna). Though Beena seemed to be a loyal and devoted wife as well as a good stepmother, the show presented Kaleen Bhaiya doing nothing for his second wife and unable to fulfill his wife’s bedroom desires.
Mirzapur Season 3: Kaleen Bhaiya’s first wife story
Although nothing about Kaleen Bhaiya’s first wife who is the mother of Munna Tripathy was told in the first two seasons. It is still unclear and maybe the writers have intentionally unticked this section either they already have a story or want more time to develop that character that either the couple got separated or she died.
Fans are anticipating that they might get to know about Munna’s mother in the third installment between all the crimes and mysteries with plot twist occurring in the series.
Though nothing related to Munna’s mother has been directly shown in the series Kaleen Bhaiya keeps mentioning his first marriage as he seems to show his immense love for his son Munna.
There have been darker theories revolving around this plot by fans as they also feel that Bauji (Satyanand Tripathy) would have impregnated Kaleen’s first wife with Munna due to the infertility problems of Kaleen Bhaiya. This would have either led Bauji to kill her or she herself might have suicided due to the shame Bauji brought to her character. Interestingly, this would make Munna and Kaleen brothers rather than a father-son duo.
There have also many questions about Robin Agarwal’s character and her mother about whom he keeps talking and also referred to her mysterious death in the second season.
