The Kissing Booth 3: Release Date & Everything we know so far

The Kissing Booth is an American teen romantic comedy film franchise whose first and second parts released on May 11, 2018 and July 24, 2020 respectively. Third installment of the franchise is expected to be releasing in 2021.

The Vince Marcello directorial is created for the OTT streaming giant Netflix. The franchise is an adaptation of The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles and is written by Vince Marcello.

Fans are quite excited about the renewal of the franchise as Netflix announced that the third part was filmed simultaneously with the second part secretly and currently The Kissing Booth 3 is under post production stage. The Super 8 star Joel Courtney said, “It was the hardest secret to keep,” during a live Youtube session with the cast.

The Kissing Booth 3: Update

The Kissing Booth part 3 will be returning with its principal cast which includes Joey King(Shelly “Elle” Evan), Joel Courtney(Lee Flynn), Jacob Elordi(as Noah Flynn), Meganne Young(as Rachel), Stephen Jennings(as Mike Evans), Carson White(as Brad Evans), Molly Ringwald(as Sara Flynn) and Morné Visser(as Mr. Flynn).

The third installment would be directed by Vince Marcello. Apart from direction, he would also serve as the writer and co- producer with Michele Weisler, Ed Glauser and Andrew Cole- Bulgin.

The film actress Joey King at the E! People’s Choice Awards which was on November 16, 2020, announced that the third and final installment of the movie would be releasing in Summer 2021. She said, “I told myself that if I won, I would share a very exciting piece of news with everybody, so I want to tell you that Kissing Booth 3, our final installment, is going to be released in summer 2021 and I’m so excited,” during her speech.

Talking about its previous installments, they received negative response from the critics as well as the audience. The Kissing Booth received ratings of 3.59 out of 10 while the second part The Kissing Booth 2 got 4.48/10 ratings. Although, Joey King won the Favorite Actress awards at the 2019 Kids Choice Awards for her portrayal.

The streaming partner of the film Netflix also released an official teaser of the movie in July 2020.
