Nomaland Trailer: The first trailer was released next year by Chloe Zhao, Nomadland Director, who was already named a major Oscar contender.

Nomadland is a 2020 American drama film directed by Chloe Zhao who wrote, edited, and produced. Building on Jessica Bruder’s 2017 popular science book Nomad Land: Surviving America in the 21st Century, Frances McDormand plays a woman who leaves the city to travel to the western United States. These include David Strathairn and nomads Linda Mae, Charlene Sankey, and Bob Wells.

The world premiere of the film won the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival on September 11, 2020. It also won the Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival, making it the first film to win the best prizes in Venice and Toronto. The weekly virtual edition will start on December 4, 2020, and will be released by Searchlight Pictures on February 19, 2021, at the American Theater Zhao’s writing and directing, and McDormand’s acting, has garnered much praise.

Frances McDormand plays Fern, who survived her husband’s death and economic crisis. He travels all over the United States in a van looking for work to stay in the water. The film also features David Strathairn and Peter Spears.

Nomadland has won numerous awards in recent months, and director Zhao won the Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.

The Golden Lion essentially makes Zhao, the first female director since Sophia Coppola won ten years ago. Zhao’s previous film was The Horseman, and next, she will direct Marvel’s The Eternals.

McDormand will also be a strong contender for Best Actress Oscar after Fargo, Missouri, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing’s previous Oscars.
