Mira Royal Detective Updates: An American CGI animated mystery children television series –‘Mira, Royal Detective celebrated the most auspicious Indian festival through their special episode.

The voice artists of the animated series Kal Penn, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Asif Mandavi, Karen David, Parvesh Cheena, Sonal Shah, and Leela were seen wishing Diwali through a video.

They also mentioned how important the Diwali holiday is for them. The video was then shared by Disney channels.

Rooted by the culture and traditions of India, a special dance video Nakul Dev Mahajan was shared along with video messages to greet Diwali.

The US-originated series inspired by Indian culture, written by Becca Topol and produced by Wild Canary animation in association with D.J. The lead roles are of Mira(voiced by Leela Ladnier) and her two mongoose Mikku and Chikku(voiced by Kal Penn and Utkarsh Ambudkar respectively).

Supporting roles include queen Shanti(voiced by Friedo Pinto), Pinky (voiced by Hannah Simone), Sahil (Asif Mandavi), prince Niel (voiced by Karan Brar), Priya (voiced by Roshini Edwards).

Wild canary produced by Mira, Royal Detective is set around a fictional kingdom called Jalpur, which resembles India during the 19th century. It is a mystery, comedy, musical genre.

This show features a brave girl Mira- a common girl with a non-royal background who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. Mira travels all around the kingdom to solve peculiar cases and helps the common as well as royal people. While her journey begins, she faces adventures and new challenges.

Mira is joined by her two mongoose Mikku and Chikku. Mira is accompanied by creative cousin Priya and prince Niel. Mira has been entertaining all ages. It was created for children ages 2 to 7.

This series is successful in introducing the Indian roots to the world. The brave girl Mira will stop at nothing to help people as her quote suggest-“Chalo Chalo let’s go.” This show also highlights the creative things and inspires the children to think creatively and differently.

Release Date

This series was released on March 20, 2020, with a single season of 19 episodes. It has a running time of 22 minutes with 2 different stories every 11 minutes.
