Billions Season 6 Updates: The highly-rated American TV drama series ‘Billions’ is all set to continue its production for the remaining episodes of season 5 followed by its season 6 in 2021.
The fans are highly anticipated about the release of the final 5 episodes of the fifth season which got a break after its 7th episode ‘The Limitless S**t’ got telecasted due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
But now they have a reason of delight as the production house has announced the recommencement of shoot for remaining episodes of season 5 and the new season 6.
When can we get the Release Date?
As per the announcement of Showtime Networks, the series will make a comeback with the new episodes of season 5 followed by season 6 scheduled for release in 2021, but no official date has been announced yet.
The Twitter handle ‘Billions on Showtime’ tweeted “The story’s not over yet . Stay tuned for the return of #Billions” with a promotional video on the 16th of June.
What can be the possible plot of Billions Season 6?
The series primarily revolves around the story of hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis), as he accumulates wealth & power in the world of high finance.
His aggressive tactics to secure high returns frequently cross over into illegal acts that United States Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) attempts to prosecute.
