As a musical, the story is quite redeeming. We follow a toymaker Jeronicus in his quest to get his fame back. Jeronicus worked very hard to invent a new toy but his apprentice stole it and sold it by his own trademark and as Jeronicus was struggling with this betrayal, his wife also dies.

He becomes more cold and indifferent towards everything and everyone around him, eventually losing the company of his daughter.

Years later, he is joined by his granddaughter who is as talented as him. Jeronicus gets courage from Journey (his granddaughter) and they both work hard to get back what they lost from Gustafson ( Jeronicus’s apprentice).
