The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run is going to stream on Netflix very soon. Early 2020, Paramount reveals that the Sponge on the Run would not be coming and this movie would be skipping cinemas, due to the coronavirus pandemic situations around the world, and would be released straight to the streaming platform.

SpongeBob Square pants fans around the globe and UK fans would be able to watch this brand new adventure on Netflix. And it is recently announced that this latest show would be on the screens entertaining people from the 5th of November this year.

According to the original synopsis from Netflix, the upcoming film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, would engage the audience, seeing SpongeBob and best pal Patrick would be on a Madcap mission, which includes the rescue of the former’s pet Snail Gary, who has been snailnapped by the king Poseidon.

In their journey this duo is going to face hardships, they traverse the ocean floor of great lengths in search of their pink-shelled pal, from Krusty Krab of Bikini Bottom to The Lost City of Atlantic City. At one point they even get bumped to Keanu Reeves.

This adventure of SpongeBob and Patrick would be able to enjoy by the fans all over the UK and international fans by this year, but in the United States, this movie is being released in early 2021, by the premium digital rental services, before arriving on the streaming services CBS All Access

The Chief digital officer at ViacomCBS, president and CEO of ViacomCBS Digital, Marc DeBevoise says that the whole franchise is thrilled to have The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run first-run from Viacom CBS’ one of the biggest brands.

Also, says that this launch would be perfectly timed with their continued expansion and planned to rebrand the service in early 2021. He also says that the welcome SpongeBob and the whole gang from Bikini bottom to the service in the biggest possible way.
