Netflix Paranormal: Releasing soon, Cast Info & Everything we know so far

Netflix Paranormal Updates: With Halloween fast approaching, various broadcasting services have become increasingly popular lately. Amazon Prime is releasing four new Blumhouse movies, Shudder has been releasing awesome trailers, and now Netflix is moving forward with a truly new (and good-looking) series.

According to Egyptian novelist Ahmed Khaled Tawfik and in the 1960s, Paranormal tells the story of Dr. Refaat Ismail (Ahmed Amin), a professor who begins to discover new ideas for a girl in a white dress – ideas that have nothing to do with her childhood.

The Arabic language series is the first Egyptian Original series from Netflix and was announced in May 2020. The show is based on Tawfik’s work, so fans can expect a bloody story involving all sorts of creatures.

Netflix Paranormal: Every detail

Paranormal was set up in the 1960s and follows the skeptical professor Dr. Refaat Ismail, who specializes in blood analysis.  Dr. Refaat finds his faith shaken after the onset of strange things that happened to him.

Professor and his colleague Maggie Mckillop – a Scottish scientist – both began to experience hard work. Together, they will enter the natural world as they try to save their loved ones from danger.

This is the third Middle East Netflix Original behind Jinn and Al Rawabi School for Girls. The Horror Paranormal series will come just after Halloween with Netflix releasing The Haunting of Bly Manor, followed by the successful Haunting of Hill House 2018 in October.

The Paranormals will be taking a look at a series of sci-fi horror novels with the same name – also known as Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa by Egyptian author Ahmed Khaled Tawfik.

Prior to his death in 2018, the author had published 81 books in the series. The exhibition was filmed in Egypt with a photo frame recently after a break due to a coronavirus epidemic that indicated production had stopped.

Leading the cast is Ahmed Amin as Dr. Refaat Ismail.

Joined by Razane Jammal as Scottish scientist and love interest Maggie Mckillop.

Other actors include Ahmed Dash as Reda Ismail, Samma Ibrahim as Ra’iefa Ismail, and Aya Samaha as Huwaida Abdel Moniem.

Releases on Netflix November 5th.
