Christmas Chronicles 2 Updates: An American Christmas comedy adapted from a screenplay directed by Matt Lieberman, this is a 1492 Pictures production distributed by Netflix. It mostly received mixed reviews from the critics but was a great joy as a spectacle for the young spectrum of the audience which it was mainly targetted for. Releasing on November 22, 2018, this project is run by Clay Kaytis for the streaming service who has already ordered a renewal.

Christmas Chronicles 2: Plot
A widowed mother struggles to hold the family together while her felonious son, Teddy steals the car. The only positive spirit restoring the dynamics is his sister, Kate who notices a strange arm sticking out of the fireplace on the eve of Christmas.
Suspecting it to be Santa Claus, she and her brother set up surveillance cameras. Upon discovering Santa riding off on his sleigh the siblings sneak into it and the and they all towed until Ilinois, Chicago when the sleigh malfunctions and crashes losing Santa’s hat and a bag of presents.
Without the hat, Santa can’t operate teleportation and now all of them combine making amends to it and navigates a series of events to save Christmas before it’s too late. However, it ends on a happier note when the family is reunited at last when Kate receives a skateboard and Teddy magic equipment which when hung on a tree, he sees his dad’s reflection in his own and they express their pride in each other while Santa gets back with his wife, Mrs.Klaus in the North Pole.
Christmas Chronicles 2: When is the sequel hitting the screens?
Serving as a pre-Christmas bonus, this is a definite mood setter up for a release on the streaming giant on Wednesday, Nov 25.

Most of the previous cast is tapped for this one as well; Darby Camp as Kate Pierce, Judah Lewis as Teddy Pierce, Paisley as their mother Claire Pierce, Kurt Russell as Santa Claus/Saint ‘ Nick’ Nicholas; supported by other co-actors.
Netflix let out the spoilers that dictates that it initiates two years ahead of their last Christmas and “ Kate, now a cynical teenager is reluctant to spend Christmas with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son, Jack and unwilling to accept it she runs away. But upon a magical troublemaker, Belsnickel threatening to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus”.
