Further, Captain Kid along with his friend was saved when both were about to drown. Big Mom fell in awe of the pot. However, she found it empty when she was about to eat. She got infuriated and threw the pot towards Luffy. However, he punched it away.
However, he smelled of Red Bean soup and is smelled by Big Mom. Hence, she attacks him.
