GLOW Updates, an American comedy web television series, is a Netflix Original starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, and many other fantastic female actors. The initial season of the show was released three years ago in June 2017. Further, in August 2017 it was renewed for a second installment which was released with 10 episodes in June 2018.
The third season of the series released in August 2019.
GLOW is a show which perfectly depicts female sports. It shows the fictionalization of characters of the 1980s women’s professional wrestling circuit. This circuit was famously known as Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling meaning, GLOW. the founder of this circuit was David McLane.

After the release of the third season of the show, Netflix gave a green signal to the makers of the show to renew the series for a fourth running. In September 2019, GLOW was renewed for its fourth season. It was also said that this season will be the last season of the show. However, due to certain unspecified reasons, the show is recently canceled by Netflix.
Netflix states that it has reversed its decision and canceled the show due to COVUD-19 and its long pandemic. The pandemic led to a production shutdown due to which Netflix has to cancel the show.
How Did The Creators React to this Decision of Netflix
The creators of the show, Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive have reacted to the sudden news of the cancellation of their show. They said that COVID has already been horrendous and has taken many human lives. It has also led to the taking down of their show. Netflix has directed them not to finish the shooting of GLOW. Further, they said that they were allowed to present the stories of women and wrestle.
However, now it is gone. They said that they will miss their cast members. It is a horrible feeling that they would not be able to see those 15 women in the same frame again. However, they said that many things are going on in the world right now which needs greater attention.
