Mother (portrayed by Amanda Collins) mentions her pregnancy and concludes that she received a simulation of her memories unlocked the programming which remains under wraps by the creator, Campion Sturges. She thinks that this unlocking led to interact in an informal and pleasurable way with the creator.
But Father who finally realizes that however unconventional it may seem, but the interaction of any android with another entity in a pleasurable manner may lead to pregnancy and thus becomes jealous.

Well, it is revealed that Mother’s baby might not be from Campion, as she gave birth to a baby yet vicious and fatal snake. Although she requires her eyes to activate the Necromancer power, yet these babies are a part of her.
The baby possesses almost similar power like her. The bay turns out to possess rapid growth, as, by the end of the episode, it grew to a fathomable size in a short period.
Mother was informed that this snake is a source of evolution for them. But Campion will be against it and this leads to the conclusion that someone else ahs wired and hacked her memory and given her the pods.
Is it evolution or devolution?
Keppler- 22b is having more layers to it. One such baffling revelation is about their origin. Though they appear as animated creatures but are at par with a human in terms of intelligence but are devolved into something retrogressive. How this occurred is still a mystery?
What is the source of those voices?
The voices recognized Marcus would become the leader and would spare Mother’s life. He spared her life so that she could easily give birth to the snakes. The voices also regard Campion as a threat and tried to kill him many times. They have even recognized Paul’s intelligence and ordered him to disarm the lander, to restrict Mother’s escape.
They are the reason why Mother is pregnant, giving her visions, saving her, and father’s life to magma. These miracles are the action of a very powerful and strong entity. But who is that entity? , whether it is Sol or some other greater entity, it is still under the wraps.
It may also be possible that Keppler- 22b ‘s mystery is directly related to Mithraic faith as the latter have also indicated some parts of the former as a component of their prophecy. But whatever may be the source of these voices, they know everything about the Necromancers.
