After the success of the original movie, a sequel to the movie was created. It was known as Father of the Bride II which released back in 1995. 

The movie was highly loved by the audience. It received positive reviews and got great ratings. Further, the movie has got a huge fanbase which has always expected a third sequel of the movie. The second part of the movie got huge box office success and managed to earn six times more than its budget.

The latest news about the movie cited that the cast of Father of the Bride will be reuniting for a special on September 25, 2020, at 6 p.m. It will be available on Netflix and Facebook and YouTube pages of Netflix.

We can also anticipate the presence of Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short. Apart from these, there are a few special guests who will be a part of the special. Further, the third part of the movie is also expected and it will be directed and written by Nancy Meyers.

The main cast of the movie is expected to reprise their roles in Part 3. Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short, George Newbern, Keiran Culkin, and a few other actors are guaranteed to return in the next part.
