Black-ish Season 7 Updates: An American sitcom aired, first aired on American Broadcasting Company; “Black-ish” is a television series created by Kenya Barris. The show was widely acclaimed by the critics. It got nominations for both Emmy and Golden Globe for Outstanding Comedy Series.

“Black-ish” is one of the top-rated shows among all the shows on ABC and in terms of the audience size it was rated in the top ten in the United States.

Due to the great success of the show, ABC renewed it for the seventh season. There will be a special Election – themed and about an hour-long episode of the show before the release of the seventh season.

The episode is set to air a few days before the release of Black-ish Season 7; on 4 October 2020. This special episode has two parts namely ‘Election Special Part 1’ and ‘Election Special Part 2’.

The first part is penned by Eric Horsted while the second part is by Graham Towers and Ben Deep. The show has once focused on the Presidential elections of the United States in the 60th episode named “Lemons”. This particular episode was released about a week before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“Black-ish” once censored one of its episode named ‘Please Baby, Please’ due to some creative differences that the production team failed to resolve. This 16th episode of the series was finally released last month.

The consensus of Rotten Tomatoes (repose aggregator website) states, “Black-ish continues to push boundaries, but with a much more celebratory tone that seeks to educate as readily as it entertains.” The show is also a part of ABC Signature under Disney Television Studios.
