The creators emphasize the storyline in a fantasy world where Allanons protect a magical tree Ellcrys. This magical tree can cage the demons. However, if someone makes the demons free, they will kill Allanon and destroy the earth. The main villain of the series is a demon, DagdaMor, and his power increase after the dropping of a magical tree when princess Amberle had done some mistake. However, the story is all about the magical tree Ellcrys and how Allanons save the tree from demons.
