American Horror Story Season 12 Episode 1 begins with spooky characters and unusual events, signaling that the season will only grow crazier.

The twelfth season of the iconic horror anthology series American Horror Story has returned with a familiar narrative, deviating from the unique storylines of previous seasons.

Instead, the season, dubbed Delicate, is based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition and revolves around actress & model Anna Alcott, who experiences some unfathomable horrors before her pregnancy.

The program stars Emma Roberts in the starring role and also features Kim Kardashian, and thus far, the first episode has piqued viewers’ attention.

American Horror Story Season 12 Episode 1 Ending Explained: Sonia was the woman in Anna’s flat!

The American Horror Story Season 12 Episode 1 opens with Anna, played by Julia Roberts, escaping an intruder. The episode then returns to a week before this event, and everything continues there.

The intruder’s identity is unknown but seems connected to other events from American Horror Story season 12’s previews.

In the final moments of the episode, American Horror Story revisits this situation, with Anna getting up and thinking she’s drenched in blood, only to see it’s her lipstick.

Adeline, a friend of her husband Dexter’s former wife, gives her the lipstick earlier in the episode.

While Anna is mistaken about blood, she appears accurate about someone being in her home. A young woman’s figure is seen racing past Anna’s house before escaping through the front door. 

The figure is most likely Cara Delevigne’s character or Sonia. Additionally, Sonia is an artist whose art is featured in Dexter’s gallery, and Anna suspects her because she resembles Dexter’s ex-wife.

Sonia complements Anna’s bright red lipstick as she walks into the gallery. Anna’s lipstick is smeared all over her nightgown and carpets, and she used it to scrawl a message on her mirror, implying she was the one who broke into her house.

What Unfolded About Dex’s Wife Adeline?

While doing a Google search, Anna discovers an article on Dexter’s ex-wife, chef Adeline Harding. Adeline died in a devastating kitchen fire, but the show doesn’t tell much about her. The first chapter only provides that Anna appears to be envious of her husband’s ex-wife.

The season 12 opener also shows that people think Adeline is more attractive than Anna, which upsets Roberts’ character, who is currently in a vulnerable position owing to her pregnancy.

Adeline will undoubtedly have a more significant role in the narrative, although through an artist who looks just like her.

What Is Lo Preecher’s Relationship With Anna?

Lo Preecher is one of the most enigmatic characters in American Horror Story: Delicate since she appears to follow Anna wherever she goes. 

The terrifying event occurs during Anna’s operation when she dreams about Preecher entering the room and pressing her bloodied mouth on Anna’s sewn-closed mouth.

It’s uncertain if Preecher is as dangerous as she looks in the season 12 debut of American Horror Story. It’s conceivable she’s looking out for Anna’s best interests.

Logically, she is terrified of Preecher, who appears to be following her. But She isn’t the only one Anna notices whenever she goes.
