King the Land Confirm Netflix Release Date.

The upcoming romantic comedy South Korean tv series ‘King the Land’ is premiering on JTBC this June. Cheon Sung-il created this series under the direction of Im Hyun-wook.
The plot of the series revolves around two people- Goo Won and Cheon Sa-rang. Goo Won is the heir to a luxury hotel conglomerate called The King Group. As he finds himself in a war of inheritance, his life crosses paths with a hotelier named Cheon Sa-rang who is always smiling.

When Is King the Land Releasing?

The filming of this upcoming series began in the fall of the year 2022. The official trailer of the series was released on YouTube by Netflix on the 6th of June this year.
The series is set to be released on JTBC on 17th June 2023. On JTBC it will air every weekend. In South Korea the series will be available on TVING and in selected regions it will be able to be streamed on Netflix.

Lee Jun-ho-

In the role of the male lead Goo Won who is the head general manager of a luxury hotel as well as its heir, we will see South Korean actor, singer, dancer, composer, and songwriter Lee Jun-ho.
He is a member of a K-pop band called 2 PM. He debuted in television acting in the role of supporting character Jung Jin in the South Korean melodrama tv series ‘Memory’ in 2016.
Next year he played the main character Seo Yul in the K-drama ‘Good Manager’. From 2017 to 2018 Jun-ho was cast in the male lead role of Lee Kang-doo in the series ‘Rain or Shine’.
He was also cast in the role of the main character Seo Poong in the rom-com series ‘Wok of Love’ in 2018. In the role of Choi Do-hyun he was cast in the main role in the 2019 series ‘Confession’.
From 2021 to 2022 Jun-ho portrayed another main character Yi San / King Jeongjo in the historical romantic K-drama ‘The Red Sleeve’. Jun-ho’s filmography includes ‘Cold Eyes’, ‘Memories of the Sword’, ‘Twenty’, and ‘Homme Fatale’.
Im Yoon-ah-

Portraying the female lead character Cheon Sa-rang who is an always smiling hotelier, we will find South Korean actress and singer Im Yoon-ah in the series.
Yoon-ah was cast in the role of Jang Sae-byuk in the South Korean tv series ‘You Are My Destiny from 2008 to 2009. In 2009 she played Seo Yoo-jin in the Korean drama series ‘Cinderella Man’.
Kim Yoon-hee, was cast in the 2012 melodrama romance series Love Rain’. From 2013 to 2014 Yoon-ah played Nam Da-jung in the romantic comedy-drama series ‘Prime Minister & I’. In the 2016 Chinese drama series ‘God of War, Zhao Yun’ he was cast in the role of Xiahou Qingyi / Ma Yunlu.
The same year he also played Go An-na in the K-drama The K2′. Next year Im Yoon-ah played the role of Eun San / So-Hwa in the South Korean historical drama series ‘The King in Love’.
From 2020 to 2021 in the K-drama ‘Hush’, she was cast as Lee Ji-soo. In 2022 Yoon-ah starred as Ko Mi-ho in the hard-boiled noir legal crime series ‘Big Mouth‘.
Im Yoon-ah’s filmography includes ‘Confidential Assignment’, ‘Exit’, ‘Miracle: Letters to the President’, ‘A Year-End Medley’, ‘Confidential Assignment 2: International’, etc.

In the role of Goo Won’s secretary Noh Sang-Sik, South Korean actor Ahn Se-ha will be seen starring.

In the role of Oh Pyung-hwa who is the best friend of Sa-rang, is played by Go Won-hee in the series.
She previously starred in the series ‘Blooded Palace: The War of Flowers, ‘My Dear Cat’, ‘The King’s Face’, ‘The Stars Are Shining’, ‘Strongest Deliveryman’, ‘Secret Queen Makers’, ‘Perfume’, ‘Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency’, ‘Eccentric! Chef Moon’, ‘Revolutionary Sisters’, etc.
Kim Ga-eun-

The character of Kang Da-eul will be portrayed by South Korean actress Kim Ga-eun in the upcoming series.
She previously starred in the series ‘Gunman in Joseon’, ‘Single-minded Dandelion’, ‘Songgot: The Piercer’, ‘The Royal Gambler’, ‘Because This Is My First Life’, ‘I Picked Up a Celebrity on the Street’, ‘Dazzling’, ‘The Wind Blows’, ‘On the Verge of Insanity’, ‘Under the Queen’s Umbrella’ etc.
Other supporting cast members of the upcoming series are Kim Jae-won playing Lee Roon and Kim Seon-young playing Goo Hwa-ran.
