“I named it after Fred Armisen because I adore Portlandia,” the Only Murders in the Building star, Selena Gomez 30, told Rolling Stone in a November 3 interview. “I’ve never met him, but I’m secretly hoping he finds out just so he can say, ‘That’s crazy.’”

While the 55-year-old Saturday Night Live star has not responded to Gomez’s homage, she has been open about her health battle over the years.

“I’m aware that some of my fans noticed I was lying low for a portion of the summer and wondered why I wasn’t promoting my new song, which I was pleased of.”

So I learned that I required a kidney transplant due to my lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my general health,” the Rare Beauty entrepreneur stated on Instagram in September 2017, two years after being diagnosed.

“My kidneys were malfunctioning. “My thinking was to keep going,” Selena Gomez said of her “life or death” surgery on a September 2017 broadcast of the Today show. “Francia resided with me during this exciting period when my kidneys were barely finished.”

That was the end of it, and I didn’t want to question anybody else. It was quite tough for me to ask someone to do that. She offered and completed the task. Even for someone who wants to volunteer, it is quite difficult to find a match. That she was a match, I mean, that’s incredible. That’s not true.”

The Story of How I Met Your Father The actress, 34, was delighted to help her pal in her hour of need.

“It’s been both overwhelming and amazing.” “I’m never very open about my personal life, and it’s incredible the response that I’ve had from people,” Raisa told Us Weekly exclusively in January 2018 of openly revealing their shared health battle. “Honestly, I’m simply honored… We’re doing fantastic.”

The singer of “Lose You to Love Me” has always been open about her health issues, including participating in her My Mind & Me documentary, which debuted earlier this month.

“When you’re battling with your mental health, understanding what to do and recognizing that is vital,” Gomez stated in an Apple TV+ production on how her lupus induced spells of despair. “It’s not anything I’m ashamed of.” I had to relearn everything.”

“I lost my mind,” she continued. ‘Hey, you’re not a horrible person, you’re not a gross person, you’re not any of this,’ it said. However, you will have to cope with this. I realize it’s a lot, but it’s the truth.’

And I discovered that having a relationship with bipolar and myself will always be present. I’m simply letting my pal know. I needed to go through it to become who I am and want to continue doing so.”
