Season 1 of ‘Sweet Magnolias’ premiered on Netflix on 19 May 202. Every episode of it is 45 and 55 minutes long. The date of the second season was announced on 23 July 2022. Season 2 production has been in full swing and has crossed the halfway mark. As it was evidenced by Director Norman Buckley’s on his Instagram post during the late-night shoot. The show is going to center the lives of the childhood of 2 friends Maddie, Dana Sue and Helen.  Chris Klein is going to essay the characters of Maddie’s ex-husband Bill Townsend. Annie is the daughter of Dana Sue. Tyler and Klein are the sons of Maddie and Bill. The protagonist of the social and romantic lives is also the rope in Tyler’s basketball coach Cal. The new love interest of Bill is Noreen and Ronnie.

Season 1 of the show has ended with a massive cliffhanger. In which Maddie’s son is involved in a violent car crash with Tyler’s car.  While Maddie, Dana, and Helen were waiting anxiously by the wreckage. It has been revealed that the car was being driven by Bill and the younger son of Maddie, Kyle. The identity of the passenger who is still trapped in the car and is potentially deadly and is unknown.
