The final trailer for Rick and Morty features the wacky sci-fi stories that await the titular duo. Since its first premiere in 2013, Rick and Morty has been praised for their quick wit and tackling various sci-fi tropes.
In a major show of confidence in the series, Adult Swim renewed it for 70 episodes in 2018, ensuring that the show will stick around for a while. After long interruptions between the last few seasons, Rick and Morty will arrive at almost surprising speed, even despite the pandemic disrupting major productions over the past year or so.
Rick and Morty Season 5 premieres on June 20, just over a year after the end of Season 4. Once again, drunken mad scientist Rick and his grandson, sweet Morty, will embark on new, wild adventures across space and time.
Rick and Morty Season 4 ended with an episode dealing with Space Beth, which will continue to feature the series in the future. Overall, however, Rick and Morty seem to branch out into new territory.
