Malibu Rescue Season 2 Update: Scott McAboy and Savage Steve Holland have created the American comedy series ‘Malibu Rescue’ that revolves around the Malibu Junior Rescue Program. The series begins with a teenage boy Tyler who is sent to that program by his stepfather.
As Tyler meets a number of ragtag children coming from the Valley, all of them together get determined to win the big lifeguard competition.
Their determination multiplies when they realize that the director of the program has let them compete only to see them fail so that the children from Valley do not get to enter into the program anymore.
Ricardo Hurtado plays the role of Tyler Gossard in the series. He is characterized by overt competitiveness. Other cast members of the series include Jackie R. Jacobson, Abby Donnelly, Breanna Yde, Ian Ziering, Bryana Salaz, Jeremy Howard, Jeff Meacham, Alkoya Brunson, JT Neal, Zahf Paroo, etc.
The series was succeeded by a special film of feature-length that was released on May 13, 2019. The first season of the series premiered on June 3, 2019. Though any confirmation of the renewal of a season 2 is yet to be made by Netflix, fans are expecting an announcement anytime. Ricardo Hurtado (Tyler Gossard):
American actor Ricardo Javier Hurtado plays the role of Tyler Gossard in the series. He gained recognition through the role of Freddy Huerta in the American musical comedy series Nickelodeon’s School of Rock’ from 2016 to 2018. In one episode of the American sitcom ‘The Mick, Hurtado played the role of Nico 2018.
The same year he starred as Rafael in one episode of Netflix’s American teen sitcom ‘Prince of Peoria’. In two episodes of the American period drama ‘The Goldbergs’ he starred as Brian McMahon. In 2019 Hurtado appeared as Austin Justin in the comedy series Bunk’d’.
The next year he was cast as High Five / Little Kid in the American animated series ‘Glitch Techs’. In 2021 he portrayed Tuck in Netflix’s comedy series ‘Country Comfort’. Hurtado starred in films like ‘Along for the Ride’ and ‘Malibu Rescue’, and ‘Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave’. He will be seen playing the role of Elliot in an upcoming film ‘The Lies I Tell Myself’.
Abby Donnelly:
Another cast member of the series is American actress Abigail Donnelly known as Abby. In 2012 Donnelly played a minor role of Peggy Cartwright in one episode of the American anthology horror series ‘American Horror Story’. The next year she appeared in minor roles in three series- ‘Suburgatory’, ‘Anger Management, and ‘Adam Devine’s House Party.
In 2016 she played Helen McGill in one episode of the police procedural crime series ‘Criminal Minds’. The same year she was also cast as the lead role of Darbie O’Brien in the live-action family series ‘Just Add Magic which is adapted from the same-named book by Cindy Callaghan.
She starred in the series since 2019. In 2019 Donnelly played Jennifer Harris in a single episode of ABC’s crime series ‘Stumptown’. In ‘Just Add Magic: Mystery City’ she reprised her role of Darbie O’Brien in 2020. Donnelly was also seen acting in the TV films ‘Malibu Rescue: The Movie’ and ‘Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave’.
Breanna Yde:
Another cast member of the series Breanna Yde is a nineteen years old successful child actress of America. She has starred in a number of tv series, short films, and tv films since 2009. In 2011 she appeared in one episode of CBS’ popular American sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’.
From 2013 to 2015 Yde was cast as the main character of Frankie Hathaway, the second Hathaway daughter, in American supernatural sitcom ‘The Haunted Hathaways’. In 2015 she starred as a minor character of Grace in two episodes of the American sitcom ‘Instant Mom’.
In the role of Tomika, Yde was cast in Nickelodeon’s American musical comedy series ‘School of Rock’ from 2016 to 2018. She was also voice casting in American animated series of Nickelodeon ‘The Loud House’ in that time.
In 2017 she again played a minor role of Simone in one episode of the American comedy series ‘Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Yde starred in television films like ‘Santa Hunters’, ‘Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.
Ian Ziering:
American actor and voice actor Ian Andrew Ziering is another cast member of the series. The films in which he starred include Endless Love’, ‘No Way Back’, ‘Tyrannosaurs Azteca’, ‘The Legend of Awesomest Maximus’, ‘McKenna Shoots for the Stars, ‘Snake & Mongoose’, ‘F the Prom’ etc. Ziering starred as the superhero Blue Devil in DC comics superhero horror tv series ‘Swamp Thing’ in 2019.
