One such truly melodious movie will be released on Netflix named Drawing Closer. It is based on the novel of the same name by Aoi Morita. The novel itself received a lot of appraisal for the plot and characters and garnered positive reviews from critics.

The film shows the story of an artist named Hayasaka Akito. He is diagnosed with a tumor and told that he only has a year left to live. Though Eager to participate in an upcoming art exhibition, he chooses not to express his emotions fiercely.
His life takes a new turn when he discovers Sakurai Haruna, a painter. She confesses that she has only six months left to live. Hayasaka gets drawn to her more and more but chooses not to tell her his condition and that he also only has a year left to live!
The story sounds immensely emotional and candid. I am sure that it will take you on an emotional rollercoaster.

The Cast of the Movie.
Nagase Ren will play the role of Hayasaka Akito. He has previously starred in the television series The Knife and the Sword and Ninja Calling on! Fight Towards the Future.
Deguchi Natsuki plays Sakurai Haruna. She is known for starring in Till We Meet Again on the Lily Hill and Girl Gun Lady. Both are Japanese movies.
It is a debut Netflix series for both actors.

The movie’s release date is yet to be announced but it is speculated to be June 27, 2024.
