The world’s most adored fighting panda has finally returned to thrill us in movie theatres. We finally got a first look at what to anticipate from Kung Fu Panda 4, with the first trailer dropping, and it’s just as action-packed & funny as we expected.
Po is ready for his next adventure after finding the crucial secret of Chinese martial arts and realizing he has to be the one who would unite his family of pandas who live in secret with the rest of the world. He’ll have to rely on his famous fighting skills once more to protect what’s important to him… or will he?

Po, the Dragon Warrior, is called upon by fate to finally give it a rest after three death-defying adventures in which he used his unwavering courage and insane martial arts talents to beat world-class rivals. He has been chosen as the Spiritual Head of the Valley of Peace.
That brings up a few obvious problems. First, Po understands spiritual leadership and the paleo diet, and second, he must instantly select and train the new Dragon Warrior before taking his new elevated position.
To make matters worse, there have been rumors of the recent appearance of the Chameleon (Viola Davis), a tiny lizard with the power to shapeshift into any size of the creature, a powerful and evil sorceress.
Chameleon has her selfish, beady little eyes on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would grant her the ability to re-summon all the master villains Po has defeated to the spirit realm.
So Po will need help. He finds it (kind of) in the form of wily, quick-witted thief Zhen (Awkwafina), a corsac fox whose skills will prove indispensable. This comic odd-couple combo must work together to protect the Valley of Peace from Chameleon’s reptile claws.

Jack Black has been confirmed to reprise his role as the voice actor for the character of Po, as he has done in all previous installments.
Awkwafina joins the cast as Zhen, a cunning thief Po is training to become his next Dragon Warrior. Oscar winners Viola Davis as Chameleon & Ke Huye Quan as Han will join her. Davis’ Chameleon is the main villain in Kung Fu Panda 4.
The renowned Dustin Hoffman will reprise his role as Po’s sensei, Master Shifu, alongside Angelina Jolie (Tigress), Lucy Liu (Viper), Seth Rogen (Mantis), Jackie Chan (Monkey), and David Cross (Crane). While Shifu & the Furious Five will still appear in the film, they will play a smaller part this time.
The fourth part of Kung Fu Panda is set to be released in theaters on March 8, 2024.
