Rush Hour is coming back to giggle out all of us. The 4th part of Rush Hour has been announced by various sources, the prime one being Jackie Chan himself.

When did Jackie Chan announce it? When is Rush Hour 4 releasing? Read the article further to know more.

Jackie doesn’t make many public appearances. But every time he does, he definitely gives news to his fans. This time the appearance was at the Red Sea Film Festival and he announced the fourth installment of his comedy movie series, Rush Hour.

The universe of Rush Hour comprises three movies as of now. Rush Hour 4, as announced by Jackie, will be like a revival of the universe as the third one came all the way back in 2007.

“We’re talking about part 4 right now,” Jackie Chan said. He also added that he was going to meet the director of Rush Hour 4 that evening to discuss the script. (Jackie knows well how to tease his fans)

But, Jackie didn’t say who will be directing the upcoming part of Rush Hour. Previously released three parts of the franchise were directed by Brett Ratner. But it seems difficult for him to direct this one. Here’s why.

Brett Ratner was accused by seven women of s*xual harassment and misconduct. Those seven women included actors Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge. The accusations were made in November 2017.

Since 2014, Brett hasn’t directed any movies. These accusations broke Brett’s ties with Warner Bros. He had a lucrative deal with the organization.
