The second season took time to find its tone because it had to continue establishing characters like Eun-yu and Hyun-su while expanding the story beyond the webtoon on which the K-drama is based.

However, in the finale of Sweet Home season 2, all of its pieces had fallen into place, creating an intriguing setting for season 3. Nothing can stop her strange daughter now that Yi-Kyung is dead.

There is still much to discover about Yi-kyung’s daughter, who might be a villain or the key to breaking the curse in the upcoming season.

Furthermore, the stadium community’s relative calm has ended, and season 3 will most likely start with Chief Ji & Sargeant Tak revealing each other’s secrets. Eun-hyuk’s return, this time as a monster, is the show’s biggest sequel hook.

However, Ui-myeong/Sang-won’s goal of turning people into neohumans and Dr. Lin’s curse study are both intriguing plot threads that will be continued when the series returns.
