Anyone But You has received a new full-length trailer, offering more about the R-rated romantic comedy featuring Syndey Sweeney and Glen Powell.

The film shows a couple who, after a horrible date, will attend a wedding in Australia while pretending to be together. The film’s R rating has been underlined, highlighting how far it will advance in its rom-com adventures.

As the trailer begins in earnest, both characters reunite on a flight on the way to the stated destination wedding, and we learn from their chat that Bea’s sister is a bride-to-be.

While it’s unclear what Ben has in common with the soon-to-be-married pair, his presence clearly shows he’s close to both.

Both want to avoid one another as much as possible, but upon arrival in Australia, they face a shared crisis that leads them to depend on one another. Both of their ex-partners are attending the wedding, so they agree to act like a couple to avoid them.

Even though Ben thinks, “There’s no way we can convince anybody that we really like each other,” they choose to move forward. Their pact, however, results in awkward, amusing, and humiliating situations, such as Ben hastily stripping naked when Bea finds a spider hiding in his trousers and Bea slipping off a boat when they attempt to recreate the classic Jack and Rose moment from Titanic. The trailer takes its romantic side seriously as flames rise between Bea and Ben.

Anyone But You is a wonderful film full of love and humor, with a lively atmosphere. A few of Bea and Ben’s adventures were seen in the teaser, suggesting that there would be much more in the movie.
