Role Play Official Trailer Released On Prime Video!

“Every couple has their secrets,” but not everyone keeps them as well as Kaley Cuoco‘s Emma in David Oyelowo’s action comedy Role Play.

Prime Video has released a new trailer for their forthcoming film Role Play, in which Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo’s relationship is unexpectedly put to the test.

Cuoco and Oyelowo play a married couple whose lives suddenly turn when their secrets are revealed. Cuoco, for instance, plays the suburban wife, who also happens to be an assassin.

The Role Play Trailer Highlights Kaley Cuoco’s Killer Instincts in an Action-Thriller Suburban Wife Character!

Married couples frequently role-play. It’s a normal approach to spice up your romantic life. However, in the movies, it always ends in tragedy.

The new trailer for the film begins with Emma, her husband David, and their two children living in the New Jersey suburbs. The rest of the family is unaware that Emma is living a double life as a ruthless international assassin.

Emma’s facade begins to crumble when she and David choose to spice up their marriage for a night by pretending to be strangers meeting up at a ritzy bar. Unfortunately, they run into a mysterious stranger who knows much more about Emma than he lets on.

Emma’s secret is eventually revealed and tracked down by criminals and police enforcement, including Gwen Carver. Still, David is desperate to save his wife and their marriage – or die trying. Conversely, the trailer’s uncouth bluntness generates a feeling of black humor amid an otherwise high-stakes setting.

“Emma has an outstanding husband and a pair of kids in the outskirts of New Jersey—she also maintains a secret life as an assassin for hire, a mystery that her husband David finds when the couple chooses to spice up their relationship with a little role play.”

The Cast and Crew of the Role Play.

Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo play the key roles. The Role Play cast also features Bill Nighy and Connie Nielsen. Nighy appears to be Emma’s colleague, Bob Kellerman, who knows a lot about her hidden secret as a skilled assassin.

On the other hand, Nielsen plays Gwen Carver, an investigator who is aware of Emma’s past and wishes to help David and his family. In addition, Role Play is director Thomas Vincent’s first Hollywood production; since 1999, the director has only made four French movies.

Role Play will be available on Prime Video on Friday, January 12, 2024.
