Samsung Galaxy Tab S9: Design, Features, Performance, And More!

Samsung again sets the bar for high-end Android tablets with Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 has a sharper screen, faster processor, and more RAM choices than previous models, but these improvements are accompanied by several undesirable price hikes.

However, the long-awaited inclusion of an IP68 water-resistant designation on this tablet may be sufficient to justify the increased cost.

The Galaxy Tab S9 is nearly identical in size and weight to its predecessor, measuring 10.01 x 6.53 x 0.23 inches and weighing 1.10 pounds.

It’s a beautiful piece of aluminum that feels solid and comfortable to grip. Because of its thin profile and low weight, you can carry it easily for extended periods.

The device has a tiny bulge on the back that contains the rear camera and a magnetized strip where you connect and charge the S Pen. The bottom edge features a single USB-C connector, while the left edge contains a port for connecting the Book Cover Keyboard Slim.

The power button, volume rocker, and microSD card slot are all on the tablet’s right edge. There is no jack for headphones. The Tab S9’s new OLED display is stunning.

It’s a lot more colorful and eye-catching. The more vibrant display is an enhancement over the Tab S8.

Camera and Battery Features

With the Galaxy Tab S9, Samsung makes it evident that it has no intention of changing the fact that premium tablets have never been targeted toward photography enthusiasts.

A step up over the 6MP sensor found in the Tab S8 Ultra from the previous year, the rear of the device has a 13MP primary sensor with autofocus and an 8MP ultrawide. Two 12MP sensors are on the front and receive Samsung’s version of the Centre Stage subject tracking capability.

Most shooting modes on Samsung phones, including Portrait, Pro, and Night modes, are also available on the camera app.

If you choose one of the other Tab S9 variants, the camera arrangement will be somewhat different. Each side of the Tab S9 features a single snapper.

The 11,200mAh battery may not have changed from the previous year, but the Tab S9 Ultra should outlive its predecessor, which got through several days of light use and around 10 hours on a single charge.

Even though a charger is no longer included in the packaging, charging should still be a quick 45W.

Performance

One of the most essential upgrades to this year’s Galaxy Tab devices is under the hood. In addition to higher RAM possibilities, all three versions in the range are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Galaxy 8 Gen 2.

Speedy scrolling, smooth multitasking, and outstanding gaming performance are all assured – you’ll struggle to find speedier tablets anywhere else. This version provides an excellent movie-watching experience.

Four Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers accompany dynamic AMOLED panels, so you’ll have no issue hearing video material if you’re willing to stream whatever you’re watching out loud.
