Xiaomi 13 Pro: Outstanding Performance And A Massive Leica Camera!

A solid flagship Android phone with an excellent camera and charging features. Xiaomi 13 Pro, released in China late last year, has much to offer.

With great hardware, design, and a number of technologies, the new Pro is poised to outperform expectations now that it has gone worldwide. It’s the first international display of Xiaomi’s recent collaboration with image specialists Leica, and it’s combined with a large 1-inch primary camera sensor.

Remember the Snapdragon CPU, stunning display, rapid charging battery, and more.

With the 13 Pro, Xiaomi has firmly established its fundamental design for its Pro phones, employing a curved 6.7-inch display & a grid-like camera unit on the back again.

Xiaomi used Gorilla Glass Victus for the display, yet it still provides a flagship-worthy degree of protection.

Instead of extra glass, it chose a “bio-ceramic” material for the back, available in Ceramic Black (shown) or Ceramic White.

The 13 Pro’s IP68 dust/water resistant designation is the ultimate feather in its durability cap. This is standard on most flagship phones, but it’s still reassuring to know that if it is temporarily immersed, it won’t suffer too much.

Xiaomi 13 Pro was first revealed to the Chinese market on December 11, 2022. Still, fans worldwide had to wait until the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, where the phones were released globally on February 26. The Xiaomi 13 Pro costs roughly $1,310 in the United Kingdom.

Despite being a worldwide release, due to Xiaomi’s absence from the US and Australian markets, the phones are unlikely to be accessible.

Suppose you accept the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s massive camera upgrade. In that case, you’ll acquire what appears to be a strong trio of 50MP sensors adjusted in collaboration with the photography experts at Leica.

The telephoto camera receives another 50MP sensor behind a 75mm lens for 3.2x optical zoom and macro shooting, with a focus distance of 10cm!

There’s also 8K video capture at 24fps and Dolby Vision-compliant 4K video capture at 30fps, with claimed night recording enhancements.

It’s also worth noting that the display has a 32MP front-facing punch-hole camera that enables HDR and portrait photography.

The battery capacity is 4,820mAh, greater than the previous Pro and equivalent to the Ultra. There is the capability for 120W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.

Performance and Connectivity

Xiaomi did not scrimp on the 13 Pro’s power. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is powering the show, with 12GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

That is comparable to or better than what is provided by default on competing Android phones. When compared to similar-priced phones, Xiaomi performs admirably.

The worldwide 13 Pro comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, both offering faster read and write speeds and increased power efficiency than last year’s Xiaomi 12 Pro RAM and storage.

5G connectivity, dual SIM compatibility, NFC, and support for the newest Wi-Fi 7 standard and speeds are all available.

If you value battery charging speed and lifespan, a highly adjustable and practical camera package, and premium build quality, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is for you.

Unfortunately, attempting to purchase one in the US will be more painful than it’s worth, but for most people who can get one, the Xiaomi 13 Pro offers all the power you need.
