As I mentioned earlier the movie The Wonder is based on R.J. Palacio’s 2012 book, “Wonder,”. The movie is set in The Irish Midlands in 1862. In the storyline we see a young girl who stops eating but remains miraculously alive and well.

English nurse Lib Wright is brought to a tiny village to observe eleven-year-old Anna O’Donnell. This made people very curious to study the girl as it was believed that she have survived without food for months and show no sign of weakness.

although the story of the movie seems very realistic, the movie is based on R.J. Palacio’s 2012 book, “Wonder,” and is completely friction. There is no sign of the movie by which it can be proved that it is based on a true story.
