The plot will feature Nathan Byrn (Jay Lycurgo), the unnamed bastard son of Marcus Edge (David Gyasi, Interstellar), a vicious and brutal witch, based on Sally Green’s YA series Half Bad. Nathan’s powers are growing more vital as his seventeenth birthday approaches, which he and others around him are worried about.

We witness Nathan and his partner-in-crime, Annalise (Nadia Parkes), hunted down by a policeman before their pursuer is blown to bits by Nathan’s superpowers. The teaser outlines the numerous sorts of witches and why Marcus Edge is the evilest of the wicked.

Nathan struggles to trust that he will not end up like his father. However, when he discovers a prophecy stating that he will be the one to murder his father, He realizes he must accept his potential and prepare for the battle of his life.

Nathan goes into hiding with Annalise & fellow witch Gabriel (Emilien Vekemans) in order to properly practice his powers and be safe until the right time comes. The teaser reveals a love triangle between its three central protagonists and plenty of magic and drama.

It would be easy to overlook another fantasy series about young people trying to make their place in the world. Still, Barton injects his scripts with plenty of snappy dialogue and a very well plot to keep everything new enough to stand out from the mainstream.
