Fans and viewers of the gentleman thief have lots to be excited and enthusiastic about ahead of the new run. Lupin Part 3 series features Omar Sy in the role of Assane Diop.
Recently during an event on Netflix, they made some announcements regarding the information about this upcoming series!!! So we have come up with compiling all that information to give you some more insights about it!!!
A Netflix TUDUM event happened in the month of September on the date 24th. On that day Netflix came up with a first-look poster of the series as well as a brand new exciting trailer for all the viewers.
Last time when we saw the previous season of the series we witnessed that the protagonist of the story was running away from the police authorities.
The production of the third installment had begun back in the November of 2021.

Lupin Part 3 Release Date
Honestly, there is no official announcement regarding the release date of the series neither in the trailer nor in the first look so we can just make speculations about it by looking at its filming patterns of it!!!!
If everything goes on as planned we could expect Lupin Part 3 to be on our screens somewhere around late 2022 or early 2023.

As mentioned about on the 24th of September during a TUDUM fan event on Netflix they released the official trailer of the series!!

We could see the gentleman thief who was running away from the police in the previous season returning back to Paris. At the same time, he made a proposal to his family to leave France and they will all move together to some other country or city and reside there!!
We can see in the trailer that there is a sort of difficulty waiting ahead for the hero of the series. Additionally, there will be an unexpected return in the series that is going to turn the situation worse!!!
The Cast Members
There is no official announcement regarding the official cast members of Part 3 but we could expect to see the below-listed actors as cast members in the series :
Ludivine Sagnier in the role of Claire, (Assane’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child)
Etan Simon in the role of Raoul,( the son of Assane and Claire.)
Antoine Gouy in the role of Benjamin Ferel, (Assane’s close friend from his school days)
Soufiane Guerrab in the role of Youssef Guedira, (a detective who uses his knowledge of the Arsene Lupin books to hunt Assane)
Vincent Londez in the role of Captain Romain Laugier, (who is a police captain)
Shirine Boutella in the role of Lieutenant Sofia Belkacem, (who is a lieutenant detective)
The Plot of the Series
George Kay hinted that we can at least expect “more conflicts and complications” in Lupin Part 3 of the series, with the protagonist played by Omar Sy being “really involved” in helping to guide Assane’s path.
“He’s really active and really sharp when it comes to the scripts and Assane’s journey through those stories,” the writer of the story said.
