Among the plethora of brand new season of much awaited series releasing in September, a season 6 is the final season of legal drama ‘The Good Fight’.
The series is the spin-off and the standalone sequel of American legal and political series ‘The Good Fight’. Robert King and Michelle King have returned to create the spin-off along with Phil Alden Robinson.
The plot of the series is set one year after ‘The Good Wife’s series finale as Diane Lockhart, partner in Alicia Florrick’s law firm from ‘The Good Wives’, returns as the main character of the sequel.
The season six which will be serving as the final one for the series will revolve around political and legal dramas based on current political situation. A violent civil war which will devour the whole of U.S. is also the part of the plot of season six.
The Good Fight Season 6 Release Date
The series premiered on February 19, 2017 on CBS All Access. The season 6 has been renewed in May of 2022 which is set to release on September 8, 2022 on Paramount+.
The main cast members who will presumably reprise their roles in the new season include Christine Baranski, Nyambi Nyambi, Michael Boatman, Audra McDonald, Zach Grenier, Charmaine Bingwa etc.

Christine Baranski-
The main character Diane Lockhart who was also one of primary characters of mother series ‘The Good Wives’ is starred by renowned American actress Christine Jane Baranski in the series who is mostly noted for her sophisticated acting and representation of sophisticated women.
From 1995 to 1998 she starred as the main character Maryann Thorpe in CBS’ sitcom ‘Cybill’. As another main character Marsha Bickner she acted in yet another CBS sitcom ‘Welcome to New York’ from 2000 to 2001.
In the sitcom ‘Happy Family’ she played the role of Annie Brennan from 2003 to 2004. In 2022 Baranski was cast in the main role of Agnes van Rhijn in 2022 historical drama series ‘The Gilded Age’.
From 2009 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2019 she portrayed Dr. Beverly Hofstadter who is Leonard’s mother in the popular sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’.

Jay DiPersia, who is the lead investigator of Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart, is played by American character actor of Nigerian heritage Nyambi Nyambi.
From 2010 to 2016 she played sarcastic waiter Babatunde aka Samuel in CBS’ American tv sitcom ‘Mike & Molly’.
He also appeared in one episode of the series ‘Law & Order’ and in minor roles of comedy drama movie ‘Blindspotting’ and independent films ‘Day Night Day Night’ and ‘Willian Vincent’.
He also voice starred in the animated movies ‘The Death of Superman’, ‘Reign of the Supermen’ in the role of J’onn J’onzz aka Martian Manhunter.
Michael Boatman-
Julius Cain, who has been the former partner of Diane in Lockhart/Gardner and is a managing partner of Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart, is starred by American actor Michael Patrick Boatman in the series.
He was cast in main roles of the series ‘China Beach’, ‘The Jackie Thomas Show’, ‘Muscle’, ‘Spin City’, ‘ArilSS’, ‘Instant Mom’ and in recurring roles of the series ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, ‘The Game’, ‘Sherri’, ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Gossip Girl’, ‘Anger Management’, ‘Madam Secretary’, ‘The Other F Word’ etc.

Zach Grenier-
David Lee in the series is portrayed by American actor Zach Grenier. He starred as main character in the series ‘C-16: FBI’, ‘Touching Evil’ and as recurring character in ‘The Good Wife‘.
Charmaine Bingwa-
A new associate of Reddick Lockhart named Carmen Moyo is played by Zimbabwe-Australian actress Charmaine Bingwa in the series. Her filmography includes 2018 Australian comedy sci-fi horror movie ‘Nekrotronic’, 2020 sci-fi horror movie ‘Black Box’ and ‘Hello Au Revoir’, ‘Little Sista’, ‘The Pitch’.
