Will this crime drama television series will be back on your screens somewhere this year? Yes, there is good news for you!!! that the series has been renewed officially for Mayans MC Season 5. The series has been confirmed by FX Entertainment in July of this year.
But guys you know what? that the series is a spin off of the very popular biker crime drama series called Sons of Anarchy. The series also focuses on the relationship shared between two brothers namely :
Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) and Angel (Clayton Cardenas)
The first season of the series premiered in September 2018 and now when we are in August 2022 we all are expecting Season 5 which means the series was able to make its place in the hearts of fans.

Mayans MC Season 5 Renewal status of the series:
Recently a special screening was done in the presence of the creative directors and the leading stars of Mayans MC at San Diego Comic-Con.
And there the president of FX entertainment made the official announcement of the renewal of Mayans MC Season 5.
“I keep forgetting to tell everybody and no one here knows this, but we just got picked up for a season 5,” creator Elgin James confirmed during the screening. “We knew a long time ago that it was going to happen, but we wanted to tell you guys at Comic-Con.”
In a way, it was pre-confirmed that a Season 5 will come because the final episode of season 4 left us with many cliffhangers and questions that need to be answered.
Who all will be returning as cast members in season 5?
Till now there is no official announcement made about the cast members who all will be there in Season 5. But until and unless there is a time jump or time leap in season 5 we can expect our favorite faces to be back on our screens.
• JD Pardo in the role of EZ Reyes
• Clayton Cardena in the role of Angel
• Sarah Bolger in the role of Emily Thomas
• Carla Baratta in the role of Adelita
• Emilio Rivera in the role of Marcus
But unfortunately, the one member that will not be back on our screens is Richard Cabral’s Johnny ‘El Coco’ Cruz. As he was gunned down in season 4 of the series.
But but but!!! still, there is a hope we can see him if there are some flashbacks relating to his character in the series.
There is no official announcement regarding the release date of Mayans MC season 5 but observing the release pattern we can expect the series somewhere around early or mid-2023.
The possible plot of Mayans MC season 5:
Elgin James said: “We haven’t really seen a benevolent leader before.”
“We haven’t seen someone that operates on love for his brothers. Marcus operated this machine, but then look at how people would just drop like flies and Sons of Anarchy, you know, people would just drop.”
The competition between the two protagonist brothers will be more suffer more engaging and more dreadful than ever before. The Enemies are going to create severe problems for the brothers.
