A family period sitcom, “Goldberg” is returning on our screens with its Season 10. Streamed on ABC and Hulu networks, the show has been running since 2013. Having satisfactory and appreciative reviews from the audience, the makers didn’t take a break and continued to entertain their audience.
The finale episode of the ninth season aired on 18 May 2022 and since then we have been waiting for news related to season 10. The update that we have is that the sitcom got renewed for a season 10 this April.
Overview
First launched in 2013, the sitcom “The Goldbergs” is about to release its 10th season. A family comedy show, the series is about the childhood and teenage adventures OF Adam F. Goldberg. Created and executive produced by Goldberg himself, it is set-up in the 1980s.
Goldberg, in his childhood, use to videotape events and the series is based on those along with numerous events enacted by our cast. The vlogs that he made as a child are included in the runtime of the episodes.
Goldberg lived with his parents, siblings and grandfather. He was the youngest among the three siblings including his elder sister and brother. Through this series, he is seen recounting his lovely childhood days.
Goldberg Season 10: Cast, Producer & More
A nostalgic show, the series is seen using and referring to countless props, slang, and happenings from that decade. Although it is quite a long show, it will also make you reminisce about your childhood and by the end of it, you are sure to pick out your childhood albums.
Having an ensemble cast, the actors are strong and genuine in their emotions. Firstly, let us see who plays the role of Adam’s family :
- Sean Giambrone plays the role of Adam Goldberg. The grown-up version of him is voiced by Patton Oswalt. He is seen narrating the events.
- Wendy McLendon-Covey plays the role of his mother. Her name is Beverly Goldberg and she is super supportive and encouraging towards her children.
- The role of his father, Murray Christian Goldberg is played by Jeff Garlin. As interpreted from the show, he is a hardworking professional, loves sports, and is very realistic in life.
- Hayley Orrantia portrays the oldest child of the three. She enacts her sister Erica Goldberg, an intelligent and popular kid. Her role is actually inspired by his brother Eric.
- Barry Goldberg is the middle child of their parents. Played by Troy Gentile, he is short-tempered and a major fan of wrestling, ice hockey, and basketball.
Now that we have met their family, we have become familiar with them. Secondly, the other guests, relatives, and friends of his are played by other cast members. The show is produced by Dan Levy and distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
