Elite Season 5 Updates: Las Encinas has a reputation for being a high school steeped in money and murder, and season 4 of Netflix’s Elite is just adding to that image. The new season of the Spanish adolescent soap drama has it all, from a new murder investigation to new sexually active youngsters eager to meet up with new classmates and get hooked on school grounds.
Season four of Elite premiered on Netflix this past weekend, and fans have been binge-watching the eight new episodes in no time. After Polo’s murder was solved in the third season, the Las Encinas students were forced to deal with four new classmates, while a fresh investigation served as the backdrop for most of the story.
It all comes to a climax in a dramatic conclusion in which the culprit is revealed, as well as information about another crime, with the lake serving as the site of yet another cover-up.
Fans are understandably excited about the prospect of a fifth season, given that the drama has numerous loose ends to wrap up, including the unsolved mystery of the body in the lake and several romance plotlines.

Netflix came to Twitter in May 2020 to formally reveal season 4 with a video including the remaining cast members. Furthermore, Netflix announced in February 2021: “Elite lovers, get ready for more since the show has indeed been extended for a fifth season!”
Netflix usually releases new seasons once a year, so we might see Elite Season 5 as early as June 2022 and maybe sooner, as the Season 5 cast has already been confirmed. There are probably going to be 8 episodes in Season 5.
Argentinian actress Valentina Zenere will play Sofía, while Brazilian actor André Lamoglia will play Gonzalo. Netflix has also cast a new character French actor Adam Nourou as Eric.
The Blanco Commerford family will be the subject of Season 5 of Elite. Ari and Mencia notify their father about the latter’s relationship with the sexual predator Armando, prompting Benjamin to lash out. Minor characters are expected to return in the next episodes, as well as additional information regarding the actual intentions of the new Las Encinas principal.
There is no other program with as many hot and heavy entanglements, and while some couples may appear to be more stable in the aftermath, something will undoubtedly generate strife. At this high school, love triangles abound, and the new kids will undoubtedly generate some trouble!
