Falcon and the Winter Soldier Update: As most of the fans have expected following Avengers: Endgame that Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers handed his iconic shield to Sam Wildon, star Anthony was asked in the interview with The Rich Eisen Show, MCU if he will be Marvel Studios’.
It is quite understandable that Mackie wasn’t able to directly name the identity of the next Captain America but he also explained that taking the mantle isn’t as easy as it looks.

For his upcoming for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, he has also been teased by the end of Disney+’s. At least fans of the film are expecting some introduction of the MCU’s newest Captain America as the series primarily tackles the question of “Where the Shield’s gonna end up?”
“At the end of Endgame, Sam didn’t accept the Shield. If you remember, he told steve, ‘it doesn’t feel right because this shield is yours.’ So, you know, the show is a long way of figuring around who’s gonna be Captain America. where the shield’s gonna end up and if Captain America, if that moniker is gonna come back and somebody’s gonna hold that moniker again,” Mackie said.
Cast- Who will return?
In the movie there is going to be some of the cast, they are Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. these are some pairs who have come together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities- and their patience.
Miki Ishikawa, Desmond Chiam, Carl Lumbly, Noah Mills, and Danny Ramirez have also been the cast for the series.
There are also some of the other characters as Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter, these are the character who has not appeared on the screen since 2016′ Captain America: Civil War.
Recently it has been revealed that Wyatt Russell has joined the series for the role of Marvel Comics character John Walker.
