Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 is all set to be released next month on Paramount + and here are the details you need to know about the upcoming season of the series.
The fifth and final season of the fantasy series is upon us. It will premiere with two episodes on April 4th, via Paramount+ in the US, the UK, Switzerland, South Korea, Latin America, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, and Canada.
New episodes would be dropping weekly every Thursday and the final season will finish the hat with 10 thrilling episodes.
What is the Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 All About?
The official description reads: ‘The Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 and final season will find Captain Burham and the crew of the USS Discovery making a discovery and uncovering an epic mystery that will propel them on an epic adventure across the galaxy – all in search of an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately kept locked away for eons and centuries.
However, those who seek it are not just a few – but quite a dangerous lot who are desperate to claim the booty for themselves, and their agenda is pretty simple – the bad guys aren’t stopping at anything to get the treasure.
One of the interesting things about the series is that the multiverse led to a successful spinoff called ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ which is currently prepping for a second season.
Star Trek: Discovery has another interesting feat – it includes a lot of firsts such as having the first black female protagonist, the first time featuring LGBTQIA+ characters in a fantasy franchise like the ‘Star Trek’ universe.

Who Is Cast in the Season 5?
The fifth season’s main cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio, and Callum Keith Rennie. However, Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow appear as recurring guest star roles.
