Feel-Good Comedy ‘Accidental Texan’ will be out soon!
The trailer of Accidental Texan opens with Erwin embarking on what should be a thrilling new career for him, yet he is naturally nervous about his first gig. However, everything worsens from there, resulting in significant changes in the landscape once his car breaks down.
While we do not know much about Erwin’s life before the tragedy, it’s evident that he’ll have to make some changes as he works to collect finances.
He’ll discover he has more in common with Merle than his financial situation. The teaser, however, depicts a close-knit, small-town community with its attractions that Erwin will soon become a part of.
Accidental Texan follows Erwin, a recent Harvard graduate whose initial professional acting job is an absolute disaster after he misses to turn off his phone, resulting in an on-set nightmare.
So he leaves New Orleans, and things get worse when his car breaks down in the heart of Texas oil country. To try to fix the problem, he goes to a nearby restaurant and comes across Faye, who finally directs him to a mechanic.
On the other hand, Erwin is unable to finance the repairs and instead strikes a bargain with Merle, an oil driller who is also struggling financially. With only a few options left, Merle believes Erwin’s acting — and Faye’s shotgun — will help them escape their dilemma.
