After a fantastic season, fans across the globe are already craving more- and we are proud to announce that this is in fact, a real possibility.
True that Netflix has yet to announce the renewal of Castlevania: Nocturne, but we suspect Richter and the revolutionaries will return for a Season 2!
In its history spanning 37 years, the Castlevania franchise has amassed over 29 video games that also include iconic heroes and villains in video game history – mainly Dracula and several members of the vampire-hunting Belmont clan.
Castlevania Nocturne Season 2 Renewal Status
Netflix is yet to announce the official renewal of Castlevania: Nocturne, especially since the series has only been released recently – it’s understandable that there isn’t official news on Season 2.
The OTT platform’s protocol of waiting to monitor the performance of the brand-new release is rather justified and Castlevania is no exception. Factors such as time spent in the global top 10, number of views, global hours amassed, etc will help determine the future of this series.
However, we are very hopeful for the second season renewal! Our fingers are crossed.

What to expect from the second season?
Alucard joins in on the action:
For one, we can expect Alucard to join in on the fight – as he is not one to miss the action. The son of the legendary Dracula has entered the fray against Erzebet and we are all waiting eagerly to see how this fares out.
Tera replaces Dralta:
To save Maria from turning into a vampire, Tera ends up sacrificing her life by becoming Erzebet’s new vampire spawn – but unbeknownst to the latter, she has just lost one of her most powerful vampires Dralta – who was easily disposed of by Alucard. With Dralta gone, there is a vacancy for Tera and she fits the position perfectly!
Ritcher’s powers return with full force:
Despite being handicapped from using his powers thanks to a personal trauma, Ritcher has proved excellent as eliminates vampires without the use of magical powers – but in simple hand-to-hand combat.
As events take a turn towards chaos, his latent magical powers reignite with full force thus killing off the ambushers before heading to help his friends. By doing so, Ritcher proves that he can live up to the legendary Belmont name.
Although these are some possibilities for the upcoming season, it’s not an exhaustive list. There will be much more to expect – all we need is patience!

When can we expect to see the next season?
With a few calculations relating to the previous seasons, the earliest expected date for the next season would be around late December 2024 – but this is just speculation as there is nothing confirmed or official about this date.
