Netflix’s reality show-cum-survival game ‘Surviving Paradise’ is the kind of game that takes a dozen people off to a beautiful island that looks like paradise – but isn’t.
In fact, what happens here is that these twelve hopeful contestants are expected to spend time in this luxury villa whilst interacting with each other.
Here’s the twist though: These aspiring contestants have been kicked out of the great great villa, and forced to live in the middle of nowhere quite literally! They are, however, given basic amenities like rationed food and the prospect of facing challenges to win back entry to ‘paradise’ – the villa.
The first season was a major hit when it was released in the summer of 2022- but talks and speculations about a second season are currently running wild so here’s what we know about the latest updates regarding the reality show’s potential sequel.

Surviving Paradise Season 2 Renewal Status
The reality show has managed to create a large fanbase and those invested in the various contestants are hopeful to see at least some familiar faces in the Surviving Paradise Season 2.
However, the fact of the matter is that it’s still pretty early to confirm a second season that hasn’t officially been confirmed. Any news about a sequel is nonexistent, but we are hopeful and will be updating you with any possible notifications!

The first season of the show was filmed in 2022 and it was released worldwide in October 2023 – the entire process took a full year and more, so it’s quite early to speculate about the second season.
If there are any announcements about it, we don’t expect to hear about it anytime soon – possibly in early 2024.
We’re pretty hopeful because the reality show has been quite a popular success. Netflix’s Top 10 revealed that the show’s first week massed 1.3 million views in totality – thus entering the top 10 list.
Although there isn’t an official confirmation this is a positive sign for Surviving Paradise S2 – so although there isn’t much intel, we are pretty hopeful to be hearing about the release of a second season well into 2024!
