She’s the new girl in town, having moved to Canada from her hectic life in New York City, and she immediately captures Scott’s interest at a party. Scott awakens from a dream while Ramona Flowers walks by, telling his flatmate Wallace about her.
The montage continues with Scott interacting with Ramona and asking her out on a date. However, as he realizes that he has to fight her seven terrible exes to date her, the rest of the clip goes on with an epic homage to the very memorable Mortal Kombat theme from the 1990s.
It’s an excellent approach to excite people for what’s to come since it blends flawlessly with the spectacular combat in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
The trailer has extravagant notes that make viewers want to punch the air based on how adrenaline-fueled they are. Still, it also features the narrator reading off the numerous Scott Pilgrim characters similarly to the original theme, listing the many fighters in the film.
The trailer indicates that the series will maintain the old-school kind of humor that made the original comics and movies cult classics.
