Ballerina Is Releasing In October 2023!

Sweet, sweet revenge – that’s how this movie Ballerina unfolds and we can’t wait for its release on 6th October!

Ballerina is an upcoming South Korean drama-cum-revenge thriller directed by Lee Chung Hyun. The movie is a Netflix original thus you can get to watch it exclusively on the OTT streaming platform.

Lee’s first directed horror movie, ‘The Call’ was a success and Ballerina will be the second feature produced by Lee Chung Kyun.

What Do We Know About Ballerina?

Ok-Ju has worked as a bodyguard throughout her life – and she excels in physical activities like martial arts, sword fighting, gunmanship, and motorcycle riding. Talk about an adrenaline rush!

Ok-Ju is also good friends with Min-Hee, a ballerina. She asks Ok-Ju for a favor which involves the latter taking revenge on Pro-Choi and in the process, Ok-Ju risks her life.

We know! This is pretty vague for now – but you will just have to wait and watch! We do not want to give out spoilers but a lot of viewers have compared this to Keanu Reeves’ John Wick (2014).

The difference between John Wick and Ballerina is that there was a male lead in the former, whilst this revolves around women – there are brownie points for that!
