Castlevania: Nocturne | Main Trailer

The latest trailer for the Netflix follow-up Castlevania: Nocturne depicts the rise of the Vampire Messiah, a strong entity threatening to consume the sun and plunge the world into eternal night.

Only Richter Belmont (Edward Bluemel), the final member of his renowned vampire-hunting clan, and his new friends, including fellow hunter Maria Renard (Pixie Davies), could prevent her from taking over all humanity.

The Messiah performs a ritual as she marks another dedicated disciple into her service in the trailer’s opening scene. She can climb to power owing to the aristocracy & wield an army of the night to wipe out their rivals by using the uprisings in France during the French Revolution.

Her ambitious plans will bring “horror beyond imagination” to everybody. Yet, the affluent and influential are willing to let the vampires run wild in the streets in the near term if it means putting an end to the Revolution.

The sorceress Annette (Thuso Mbedu) tracks Richter down to join the fight, and despite his heartache, he eagerly accepts the mantle of his famous clan.

His theme, “Divine Bloodlines,” plays when he, Maria, Annette, and the rest of their comrades struggle against various nightmare creatures.

Richter possesses plenty of extraordinary talents since he is the descendant of both Trevor Belmont and the renowned sorceress Sypha Belnades.
