Matt Damon Put His Marriage at the Risk for Oppenheimer!

Oppenheimer is arguably one of the most anticipated movies of this year and there are plenty of reasons for it, of course, we have the iconic history behind it, a true story that shaped the world for what it is today, but we also have some really amazing actors starring in the movie.

From Cillian Murphy to Robert Downey Junior and the director himself, Christopher Nolan, all are masters of their craft, so the hype behind the movie was quite obvious.

We also have a super-talented actor Matt Damon in the movie and The Martian actor has revealed that he was about to take a break before he got a call to do Oppenheimer.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Matt Damon confessed that he has had discussions going on with his wife for a long time regarding taking a break from acting for quite some time.

Matt will be seen in the role of Leslie Groves, the director of the Manhattan Project that lead to the creation of the first Atomic Bomb; the actor said that he has worked with Nolan before in Interstellar and has a good relationship with Nolan, who had him partially informed about some project but Matt wasn’t quite sure about it.

Matt also said that he went on for a couples therapy with his wife where he kept an only exception and that is getting a call from Nolan, although Matt wasn’t even so sure about Nolan’s plans as he has a tendency to call out of the blue when nobody knows if he is working on something.

Nonetheless, the movie is about to hit the theatres and many fans already believe that it is straight-up going to the Oscars, the plot revolves around the character of the theoretical physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, who is considered as the father of the atomic bomb.
