Xiaomi 13 Pro: Outstanding Performance And A Massive Leica Camera!

With the 13 Pro, Xiaomi has firmly established its fundamental design for its Pro phones, employing a curved 6.7-inch display & a grid-like camera unit on the back again.

Xiaomi used Gorilla Glass Victus for the display, yet it still provides a flagship-worthy degree of protection.

Instead of extra glass, it chose a “bio-ceramic” material for the back, available in Ceramic Black (shown) or Ceramic White.

Price and Availability

Xiaomi 13 Pro was first revealed to the Chinese market on December 11, 2022. Still, fans worldwide had to wait until the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, where the phones were released globally on February 26. The Xiaomi 13 Pro costs roughly $1,310 in the United Kingdom.

Despite being a worldwide release, due to Xiaomi’s absence from the US and Australian markets, the phones are unlikely to be accessible.

Cameras and Battery Life

Xiaomi did not scrimp on the 13 Pro’s power. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is powering the show, with 12GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

That is comparable to or better than what is provided by default on competing Android phones. When compared to similar-priced phones, Xiaomi performs admirably. 

The worldwide 13 Pro comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, both offering faster read and write speeds and increased power efficiency than last year’s Xiaomi 12 Pro RAM and storage.

5G connectivity, dual SIM compatibility, NFC, and support for the newest Wi-Fi 7 standard and speeds are all available.

Verdict

If you value battery charging speed and lifespan, a highly adjustable and practical camera package, and premium build quality, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is for you.

Unfortunately, attempting to purchase one in the US will be more painful than it’s worth, but for most people who can get one, the Xiaomi 13 Pro offers all the power you need.
